Anyone who knows me can tell that I sincerely don’t like following trends blindly – as I feel that trends are very temporary and it’s the style that endures. Also, having an eye for detail always make me appreciate silhouettes which are slightly different from the usual ones. So coming to trends, we all know that shirt dresses are a huge hit at the moment and when I saw this cute girly piece in a small boutique in Goa, I instantly identified with it. Matter of the fact is, I got this shirt dress like five months back when this whole shirt dress bandwagon had not even hit the world 🙂 🙂
Well, coming back to our dear dress, what I really liked about this dress is that instead of being a masculine style (given that it’s a style of dress that borrows details from a man’s shirt), the frills of a skirt from down its waist really gives a feminine feel to it. Also, contrary to the straight fit of the dress, loved the elastic that cinches in the waistline. And how can I forget the quirky black print on the pretty blush tone – simply the cherry on the cake, isn’t it? Just layered up some statement necklaces and a pair of flats to complete the look.
Hope you guys liked the look and until the next time,
Loads of Love,
