So, if you know me, you’ll know that I am not much of an Indian wear girl. Not because I don’t like them but simply because I don’t get an opportunity to wear them as much as I would want to on a daily basis. That is also the reason why I don’t indulge in splurging on heavy Indian wear as I really hate seeing my clothes make friends with dirt on the top of my shelves.
On the other hand, with the festivities just round he corner I don’t want to be left behind amidst all the bling and glitz either. That’s the reason why I prefer to invest on dresses which aren’t too over the top but at the same time, can be dressed up or down with the help of few accessories here and there. This “Ïktara” Anarkali from HyperCity, for example is something that totally caught my fascination on my recent visit there. The color palette and the flair is something that makes this piece so royal in itself. What made this piece a close favorite is this when worn with simple classy gold jewelry, it can be very appropriate for those low profile Indian occasions where you’re expected to dress at your ethnic best without being too vibrant.
Especially with all the festivities around, I couldn’t keep it to low profile but went all the way to make it look grandeur. So, for this look, I accessorized it with a kundan & moti “Mangtika” along with matching earrings. A statement ring and a bright smile to complete the look.
Hope you guys liked the look and thank you so very much for stopping by. Also, don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for daily dose on Fashion & Fun!!!
Until the next time,
Loads of Love, Urvashi
