First of all, thanks a lot guys for the overwhelming response that we’ve received in our first blog post on “Corporate Chic”. We are extremely delighted by the feedback that we’ve received and it has only motivated us to do more of “Corporate Chic” looks! … ‘çoz that is what we really like and after all that is what we started off with, right?
Well, having said that, here’s the second look we styled around the #officewear. We all have our own moments of doubt when we want to sport bright happy colors to work, but all we wanna say is that don’t be afraid of colors especially the bright ones. So, we thought why not break the myth around the same!
For this look, we played with all the bright tones possible – Yellow, Pink (pencil skirt last worn here) & Purple. However, we made sure that the lines and silhouette of each piece in the look is strictly structured. The trick, however, is to wear clean and structured cuts while wearing bright colors so that the former balances out the latter and hence sticking to the formal theme.
The structured and clean lines made sure that we don’t look too colorful for an official setup. Kept the heels to basic nude, which not only balanced the whole color thing going on but also gave a decent height to the frame 🙂
Do let us know if you liked the whole colorful concept and how you styled the same at your work place…
Until the next time, hope you guys keep rocking the Corporate Catwalk.. 🙂
